It would be so helpful if we could set a minimum/maximum age for a class and the program would check that or us as people sign up for class (or perhaps other requirements that the computer can check for us).

For example we just had a young pup sign up for a class they are too young to be in and they slipped by our checklist of items that we go through before we confirm the dog into the class. So now we have a pup that is too young in the wrong class. We have to check ages (and many other criteria) manually before confirming them into class, so it’s a lot of work and prone to errors like this. But if the program could prevent the client from signing up for classes that have age limits – or at least alert us when it happens – it could prevent situations like this one we just had.
