Private Training Registration

We added a NEW Private Training registration and scheduling interface. You can now schedule multiple openings for each day as well as recurring openings.  We also added the ability for you to create different registration options which consist of a pre-defined duration and cost.  With this you can specify different options for first time consultations vs other private training sessions.

Live Chat!

We added the ability to do a live chat with us from inside the software if you have a question!

Social Integration!

We added the ability for your clients to post which classes and events they have signed-up for to Facebook and Tweet them!

More New Features

  1. We added the ability to close the class registration when the class is full. Along with this you have the ability to show the number of openings left to your clients.
  2. We added the ability for your clients to login to their account and pay for a classes or events they did not pay for as part of the registration.
  3. We added the ability for you to print or email a transaction invoice to your clients.

Miscellaneous Changes

  1. We made changes to the ‘Edit Class Registration’ popup to allow deleting registrations for a dog that has been deleted (inactivated).
  2. We changed the ‘Classes’ tab on the client’s account page of the Client Registration Portal to show upcoming classes by default.
  3. We are now saving the current calendar date for your session. When you leave the calendar page, schedule new events, etc you will be taken back to the last place you were in the calendar.  Along with this we added a ‘Today’ button to take you back to today’s date.
  4. We added the event start date, time and location along with a link to a map to the events details in the Client Registration Portal.
  5. We added the ability for you to specify which ‘Attends’ values you want to automatically be set when a client adds a dog in the Client Registration Portal
  6. We changed the message area in the Client Registration Portal to stand out a little more to your clients.
  7. We added the ability to show a ‘Documents’ tab instead of having to navigate to your account to find it.
  8. We changed the Dog and Client History tab to use the class/event start date instead of the registration date.
  9. We added the ability to delete a registration from the Pending Registrations screen
  10. We gave you the ability to choose whether the classes in the Class List Widget are ordered by Class Title or Start Date.
  11. We added the ability for you to put in the dog’s birth year in the age field instead of having to know the entire birthdate.

Bug Fixes

  1. We fixed an error with Schedule Event/Class window when an Instructor, Co-Instructor, Class or Location was deleted.
  2. We fixed the class end date being incorrect on the class page if an occurrence of that class was rescheduled after the original end date.
  3. We fixed an issue with the subject being added to the email list when emailing a class on an iPad.
  4. We fixed an error that would occur when deleting a client without an email address when you are integrated with Constant Contact.
  5. We fixed an error that would occur when trying to edit a client that was not subscribed to any mailing lists when integrated with Constant Contact.
  6. We fixed an error where the start date for Modularized Classes was not being populated when registering a dog for a class from the Dog’s page.

New Features

  1. We added a new Daycare module to let you start tracking any dogs you have coming to daycare.
  2. We added the ability to customize your own dog breed list.
  3. We added the ability for you to print or email your clients a payment receipt.
  4. We added the ability for you to search for inactive clients and reactivate their accounts, if necessary.
  5. We added the ability for you to specify a default mailing list if you are using Constant Contact or Contactology integration.

Changes

  1. We changed the Schedule Class window to use the “Repeat Number of Times” for a class when you are scheduling it instead of using the default number of sessions for that class.
  2. Skip the PayPal/Authorize .NET pages if the total for a class/event is $0.
  3. We changed the client form to allow you to add a client without an email address even when you are integrated with Constant Contact or Contactology. However, when adding a client without an email address their information will NOT be added to either of these accounts.
  4. We added the ability for you to add a new client without an address.

Updated Items

  1. We added a ‘PayPal Currency’ field to the ‘Online Registration’ page in the Admin section to allow you to specify the local currency for your area.

Calendar/Scheduling Changes

  1. We updated the calendar navigation on the home page so when you change the date in the calendar navigator the larger calendar updates as well.
  2. We fixed an issue with changing the date on an event from the calendar. Now when you edit a single occurrence of a repeating event, and change the date/time that occurrence will be move to the new date and the original occurrence will be removed.
  3. We updated the ending date displayed on the class page to reflect deleted/moved occurrences as stated above.
  4. We added the end time to the event page.
  5. We fixed the issue with not being able to change an event date from the event screen.

New Features

  1. We added the ability to limit the class list in the Client Registration Portal by location and category.
  2. We added the ability to click through from the Class List Widget to the Client Registration Portal.

Misc Changes

  1. We moved the company information (Name, Website & Email) to the Other Setting page in the Admin section so you can update your own company information when needed.
  2. We added a flag to the Client and Dog pages to signify when that client or dog has been deleted (inactive). Also the icon buttons are disabled on the page when the client or dog is inactive.
  3. We are now checking to make sure you changed your password from when your site was setup. It is still ‘dbp’ you will be forced to change it when you next login.
  4. We changed the ‘Request a Feature’ to link to the Dog Biz Pro website instead of internal mail form to eliminate the ‘Error?’ box that was occurring for some users with a slower internet connection.
  5. We added a ‘Client Map’ icon (globe) which will link to a Google or MapQuest map for that client. The map type preference can be set on the ‘Other Settings’ page in the Admin section.
  6. We added a bar to the top of the Client Registration Portal with a link back to your website.
  7. We added a ‘URL’ field to the Online Registration page with a link to your Client Registration Portal.
  8. We changed the Client, Dog, Class & Event notes to be displayed in descending order (the newest at the top).
  9. The program now displays the larger version of your logo in the header.
  10. We added ‘Boarding’ to ‘Attends’ list for a dog.
  11. We widened date fields on the ‘Filter Report’ window, so when ‘custom’ is selected so entire date can be seen.
  12. We updated the ‘Start Date’ on ‘Filter Report’ window so it does not default to 1/1/1900.
  13. We updated ‘Schedule Event’ window to automatically populate the ‘Title’ field if nothing is entered. The format is: Event Type – Date @ Time – Dog
  14. We added the day of the week to the Private Training Registration calendar header in the Client Registration Portal.
  15. We added the dog name to the client’s event list for past and upcoming events in the Client Registration Portal.
  16. We changed the ‘Schedule Event’ window to keep you on the current page when adding or editing an event.
  17. We added the day of the week to the ‘Class List’ print out.
  18. We added the day of the week to the Class Registration Portal.

Popup Changes/Fixes

  1. We changed the ‘Course Registration’ and ‘Event Registration’ window so the ‘Owner/Client’ cannot be changed. The registration can be deleted and a new registration for the correct client can be created.
  2. We changed the ‘Vaccine Record’ window so the ‘Owner’ and ‘Dog’ for an existing vaccine record cannot be changed. It can be deleted and a new record can be created.
  3. We fixed error on Dog popup loading the incorrect client if the owner had been deleted in the system.
  4. We fixed the ‘Edit Course’ window to load class cost when editing a class. It was defaulting to $0.00 when a class was being modified.
  5. We fixed an issue with the ‘Edit Event Registration’ window where the registration information was not being loaded and the registration could not be deleted.

Other Fixes

  1. We fixed an error on the ‘My Account’ page when trying to upload an image or document through the editor.
  2. We fixed the insert image window which was showing behind the editor popup window.
  3. We fixed an error when registering if the number of sessions for a class was greater than 10. Now the maximum number of session for a class is set to 30. If you have a class that is longer than 30 sessions, please let us know.
  4. We fixed an error on the ‘T-Class List’ report when sorting by ‘Title’.
  5. We added a check to the Client Registration Portal to not allow inactive clients to login to and register.
  6. We added a check to make sure the ‘Parent Category’ for a ‘Class Category’ cannot be the same as the current category being edited.
  7. We fixed the ‘Schedule Event’ window which was displaying the ‘Edit Event’ window instead of the ‘Edit Class’ window when a class exception was clicked on the calendar.
  8. We fixed the ‘Transaction Date’ for Client Transactions when a client registers online. Before the Transaction Date was the date they registered instead of the Date of the Class/Event.
  9. We fixed the issue with populating the class or event email list on an IPad or Mac Email. The email list was originally separated by ; like it need to be on a PC. We added a setting for each user to specify their preference based on their own email client.
  10. We fixed an issue with the ‘Session #’ on the Class Screen showing a negative number for upcoming classes.
  11. Fix for email error when using special characters (‘,”,%,etc) in the ‘Subject’ or ‘Message’.
  12. We fixed the “You have already registered…” message for events if you try to register for two different Registration Levels.
  13. We fixed an issue with adding registration levels to an existing event.
  14. We fixed an issue with the ‘Parent’ dropdown not refreshing the categories when a new category was added.
  15. We fixed an issue with ‘Max Dogs’ and ‘Session Length’ not being cleared after entering a class.

Email Changes

  1. Email Signatures – Addition of email signatures for each individual user. You can update your signatures under your Account page.
  2. Alternate Email Address – Addition of an alternate email address for clients. With this you have the ability to CC the clients email address automatically using the Auto-Responders.
  3. Email Integration – You now have the ability to send email directly through Dog Biz Pro without having to use your own email client. You can customize this setting on the Admin – Email Settings page.
  4. Contactology – We added a link on the Email Settings page to allow you to sign-up for our Preferred Email Marketing Service. If you are interested in signing up or have questions, please let us know.

Credit Card Processing

  1. Credit Cards – We added the ability to accept credit cards directly from clients during the registration process by integrating with Authorize .NET. Authorize .NET is one of the most popular online payment gateways.

Misc Changes

  1. Class List – Addition of the day of the week to the class list.
  2. Event Sign-Up – Addition of a ‘Sign-Up’ button on the event details page in the Client Registration Portal
  3. Countries – We added the ability for trainers from other countries to use our software by adding the country field to Clients, Instructors and Locations. To specify your default country and state go to the Admin -> Other Settings page.

Other Fixes

  1. Client Registration Tabs – We removed the tabs on the Client Registration Portal due to issues in Internet Explorer 9.

Reporting
We have added an all new reporting structure to our software. The new format will give you the ability to customize and save your own reports from our preconstructed templates. We will be adding new templates over the next few weeks as well. If there is a specific report that you are looking for, please let us know!Other Fixes

  1. Transaction Dates – we have fixed an error where the date on the ‘Add Client Transaction’ window was not being used and the date was being defaulted to the current date.
  2. Modularized Classes – we have changed the ‘Upcoming Session’ in the Client Registration Portal to show information about registering for this type of class.
  3. Client Transactions & Scheduling Events – we fixed an issue with not being able to enter large dollar amounts.

Email & Auto-Responders

We have added the ability to setup ‘Auto-Responders‘, which are emails or alerts that are automatically sent to you or the client when a specific event happens. For example, you can setup an email to be sent to the client when they register for a class. You can also setup an email or alert to be sent to you when this happens. Along with this you can customize the emails that are sent out of the system to your clients.

Alert & Pending Registration Changes

We have made a few changes to our ‘Alerts’ page as well. You will no longer confirm registration from the alerts page. Instead at the top of the page you will see a new link displaying how many pending registrations you currently have in your system. Clicking on that link will take you to the new ‘Pending Registrations‘ page. On this page you can confirm your registrations or put them on a waiting list.

Client Alerts

We have also added a ‘Messages‘ tab to the Client Registration Portal. This is where your clients would see any ‘alerts’ or messages they might have. Currently, these would be messages from the new ‘Auto-Responders‘ if you choose to send them to your clients as alerts instead of emails.

Other Changes

We also made a few other small changes to the software which include:

  1. The ability for you to specify how many days after the start date you want to allow clients to register for a class.
  2. Changed the ‘Get Website Widgets’ to be under the Admin tab

Class List/Class Page Changes

  1. The number of class attendees is now displayed next to each class in the class list.
  2. On the class page you can now see the number of the next upcoming session (ie. session 3 of 6).
  3. Added Instructor, Location and Day of the Week to the Class List Widget.

Client Registration Changes

  1. Clients can now click on a class or event on the Calendar Widget and be taken directly to the information for that item in the Client Registration Portal.
  2. We also added ‘Class Registration’ and ‘Event Registration’ links. From a class or event page within the software, you can click on the link icon to get a direct link to the registration page for that event. You can use this link on your website or in emails to your clients to promote that class or event.

Other Minor Changes

  1. Added sample date of birth for clients to see when adding a dog to their account.
  2. Marked required fields on the new dog for with ‘*’ so clients know what needs to be filled in.
  3. Addition of a Reference Number field for client transactions.
  4. Removed classes from the Registration List if they are already in progress.
  5. Added ‘description’ field for locations.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed issue with class description not showing up in Client Registration Portal.
  2. Fixed issue with classes in deleted categories showing up in schedule class window.
  3. Fixed issue with class start times being 12:00 am in Client Registration Portal, Dog Information Page and Confirmation Emails.
  4. Fixed issue with formatting of html signature.

Software Changes

  1. Event Type Customization – now you can add your own event types, change colors on existing events or delete them.
  2. Modularized Classes – we added the ability for you to track modularized or ongoing classes. These are classes that have no specified end date and a client can start at any point during the session.
  3. Additional Intervals – we added additional intervals to our scheduling times. Previously you could only choose 15 minute intervals.
  4. Waiver Tracking – you now have the ability to track which of your clients have signed a waiver either via paper or as part of the online registration process.

Client Registration Portal Changes

  1. Private Training Settings – we added the ability for you to choose which instructors, locations and durations are available for your clients to choose from when they are registering for a private training session. You can also set a default for each which will be selected automatically for the client. In addition now the client has the ability to add comments when registering which will be included with the event.
  2. Client Classes – we added the ability for clients to view their previous, current and upcoming classes under the ‘Classes’ tab in their account.
  3. Class Categories – the class list is now grouped by class categories if you are using them.
